How does Vedic Meditation work?

Sit, close your eyes and repeat a mantra or sound for 20 minutes. This effortless process allows the mind to relax, and with it the body. As the body relaxes, the stresses of day to day life are released through thoughts bubbling up through your mind.

Meditation myths that people fall for

Vedic Meditation isn't about controlling the mind or forcing yourself to stop thinking. It's a natural process that allows the mind and body to release stress and the mind to find silence.

Rory’s story

Rory was always an over-thinker and spent much of his 20s and 30s coping by drinking too much – something that wasn’t uncommon in the music and media industries he worked in.

After an early mid-life crisis at 35, he realised his partying days had to stop and embarked on a journey of self discovery. He ran marathons, wrote a novel and studied NLP in his search to find himself.

But it was when he found meditation he knew he was on the right track. No longer plagued by over-thinking and no longer a drinker, he now dedicates himself to teaching meditation.

Rory studied for a year with Australia’s most-experienced Vedic Meditation teacher and has taught hundreds of people in his four years as a teacher.

A former journalist and digital media executive, he is a regular contributor on meditation to Channel 9 and has run workshops for companies including CBA, Westpac and Pernod Ricard.

Why bother?

Meditation reduces anxiety and stress, improves sleep, increases your empathy and allows you to access clearer and more creative thoughts. Sounds too good to be true? Meditation really just does one thing very well – it reduces stress. Stress causes many diseases and robs us of some of our finest qualities.

Learn Vedic Meditation

Vedic Meditation is an effective meditation technique that allows you to systematically reduce stress and improve your sleep, productivity and enjoyment of life. And it’s easier to learn than you might think. In four short sessions you'll be set up as a self-sufficient meditator with the skills and motivation to make meditation a regular part of your routine.
