Meditation for hangovers
As everyone knows, the best way to prevent hangovers is to minimise alcohol intake, but for those times when we’ve had a few too many, meditation can come to our aid.
The below guided meditation (video or audio only available) is designed to work on some of the psychological aspects of your hangover that are making the physical symptoms seem worse than they are. We often add guilt, shame or regret to our hangovers which means we end up feeling worse than we need to. The below will help minimise the suffering aspect of hangovers. But don’t forget to drink lots of water to combat the dehydration! As the old Buddhist saying goes: “Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.”
